Enduring the winter. Soportando el invierno, 1996, Londres, Ignacio Sánchez Bravo
It was my first winter in London and, although I had already spent one year in York and other three more in Manchester, I could not get used to the cold English weather. That Saturday I was with some friends in Regent Park where I saw this lovely swam enduring that bitter morning. Then, I felt so identified that I took the camera and I shot.
Era mi primer invierno en Londres y, aunque ya había pasado un año en York y otros tres más en Manchester, no podía acostumbrarme al frío clima inglés. Aquel sábado estaba con unos amigos en Regent Park donde vi a este adorable cisne aguantando aquella mañana extremadamente fría. Entonces, me sentí tan identificado que cogí la cámara y disparé.
